I am a huge advocate for shopping local and supporting small businesses! Here are a few of my favorite great stores with wonderful websites full of unique gift ideas for the hard-to-buy for people on your list!
Stag is my favorite men’s store in the nation. Based in Austin, Stag launched a full website earlier this year and it replicates their wonderful brick and mortar store.
Based in Williamsburg, Joinery carries womens, mens, and home goods from around the world. And today all clothing is 15% off. I am coveting the Rachel Comey boots – a downtown girl essential that is never on sale!
Based in Charleston, Indigo & Cotton is a wonderful mens boutique. But I own a pair of the Made in the USA Randolph Engineering sunglasses and think that the Made in the USA Billykirk dop kit (shown on right) would be perfect for my toiletries.
I spend hours staring at the amazing goods on Kaufman Mercantile. I love their references section that serves as an encyclopedia of cool. And their new shop by region allows you to shop wonderful Made in the USA goods with one click! In fact, the pocketknife above is made in Oklahoma by G. Wiseman – another fascinating story you can read on Kaufman Mercantile’s site.
