My sister is remodeling. My sister-in-law is building a new house. The Husband and I have lived in this apartment for 15 months…and I have hung four pictures. That’s it. I am definitely stuck…or was until I found these sites…Let the shopping begin!
Here are the six sites that are helping me get past my decorating block!
I love Lonny for the aspirational nature of the featured homes, but the accessibility of implementing the look in your own home.
Inside Trina’s home and use your candelabra to organize your jewelry? Sold.
I don’t need a nursery and my kitchen is just fine…but this issue has tons of great ideas if you are struggling with those two rooms.
I love this site! She is so smart – you can choose a “personality,” click thru to an inspiration board, and buy the pieces for the look. Similar process if you chose to look for items categorized by color! And you can get a discount if you buy several pieces of the look. So smart!
Jessica creates color palettes that are interesting and unexpected! Definitely keeping me from purchasing anything beige ever again. Her pinterest page is one of my favorites!
One Kings Lane has helped me overcome my aversion to flash sale shopping. I scroll items on the iPhone app and walk through my apartment to “place” the object before purchasing.
So there you have it! The Husband is actually excited to have me shopping…which is creating a very strange atmosphere in our relationship…but I will take it!
What are your favorite interior design and home decorating sites? I am always on the lookout to add to this list, so click the grey box next to the title and give me a heads up on where to spend this apartment decorating budget!
